What I've Been Reading - Money-Saving Edition

Times are tough, and the more money we can save on everyday items will help us all get through this difficult economic period. Here are some links and resources I've come across with some great tips.

The I Will Teach You to Be Rich blog is hosting a month-long series based around saving $1000 in one month. Some great stuff here, from renegotiating your car insurance rates to dining tips. Be sure and check out the archives.

Over at My Two Dollars, David has posted a list of 1,109 Different Ways to Save Money. Even if not all of the advice here is for you, my guess is you'll find a few money-saving ideas you hadn't thought of.

Asa Ghaffar at Suite 101 has advice on Cheap Food Shopping, including things you can do online beforehand:

Checking a Google search engine for online discount codes will reveal several sites that can provide a number of codes that assist in the pursuit of cheap food. Online grocery shopping saves money on petrol and the voucher code can more than cover the cost of delivery.
