Washington banks sink deeper, quarterly figures show

The Seattle Times reports that a study of 53 Washington banks reveals that 38 “saw their reserves, which are used to offset loans that go sour, shrink relative to their problematic assets.”

Among the banks hardest hit are those that are already considered to be the most stressed in Washington.
