The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that the Greater Nevada Credit Union has closed down two of its offices and laid off 27 of its employees.

Of the 27 employees, five worked part-time, while the remaining workers were full-time. “Full-time employees who had worked for the company for at least a year were given lump-sum separation payments that were equal in some cases to three weeks pay.”
The offices that closed were located at 1255 N. McCarran in Sparks and 911 E. Second Street in Carson City.
