The Gwinnett Daily Post states that Bank of America has created a disaster relief program that will help 17 counties throughout the state of Georgia that the Federal Emergency Management Agency has deemed to be “disaster areas”.

As a part of this plan, customers who have been affected by bad storms or floods will have extra leniency with regards to their accounts. For example, among other things, they may be able to increase their credit line, avoid penalties for early withdrawal, and extend certain payments.

“Small businesses may also qualify for similar benefits on both business and personal loans.”
