Alerus announces opening of Arizona branch

According to the West Fargo Pioneer, Alerus Financial Corporation has bought an already-existing branch from Meridian Bank in Peoria, Arizona.

“The new Alerus branch, named Alerus Bank & Trust, will operate as a community bank with a primary business objective of small banking business services.”

Alerus also operates a commercial banking office at a temporary site in Pheonix, for which it is currently looking for a permanent location.
